Display spouse first and last name next to the constituent name in the first row of the Duplicate Search results screen
Currently, even when the spouse first and last name are specified in the incoming data, they are not displayed next to the constituent name in the first row of the Duplicate Search results screen. They will only be displayed when the spouse relationship itself is being matched. Apart from that, the only way to view the spouse information during importing is to double-click the first row to display all of the incoming fields.
Although the profile configuration allows for columns to be displayed for the spouse's first and last name, this does absolutely no good if the names are not displayed. The time that it takes to access the additional screen to display incoming data increases the import time exponentially. When importing 1,500 to 2,000 records it adds an incredible amount of extra time to the process.
We have 175 parishes and import a massive amount of data on a daily basis. As it is we cannot do imports during regular business hours because the impact to the performance of Raiser's Edge is not acceptable. This just adds a further complication to our process.
We would ask that this be escalated to the development team and a resolution provided in the near future.
