When importing gifts with matching gift pledges into RE, we can either set up relationships to the organization that will be matching those gifts and set up for those constituents to automatically have the organization match every gift, in which case IOM/RE will conspire between them to add matching gifts to all of those records even if you close out of the matching gift window and do not save a matching gift pledge, so you end up with 0 dollar amount pledges, or you can import to a batch and then go in and individually add pledges to each gift. This is very time-consuming, especially when anonymous gifts are being matched.
