Please include an option to conditionally preserve current Status and Participation.

In our organisation, certain Status and Participation types take priority, so it would be nice to be able to tell ImportOmatic: “If the constituent's current registrant status is Registered, keep that field as it is”. or “If the constituent's current participation type is Gold Bond, don’t overwrite it with Own Place”. We would happily settle for the records to be treated as exceptions. i.e. “If the constituent's current participation type is Gold Bond, treat as an exception” or “If the constituent's current registrant status is Registered, treat as an exception”. This way, we could return to the exception file and import it with a different profile.
