An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Susan! This default is Blackbaud functionality. Any Action Notepad added via the SKY API or manually in web view automatically is populated by Blackbaud with a Type of "Added via Web View". We don't have the ability to change that Type, because the field is not present in the API. I would suggest creating a Blackbaud Ideas Forum request to support the addition of Action Notepad Types.
Thanks,
Kristen

An error occurred while saving the comment We would like your feedback! Given Payout dates are typically added a few days after the transaction is made, would you want to wait and import the gifts once the payout date is available? Or would you prefer to import the gifts, and then have a separate import that adds the Payout date to the transactions later?

An error occurred while saving the comment Although Blackbaud has added the basics of the fields to the SKY API, the backend logic isn't built out enough, so they haven't made the endpoints available externally. Blackbaud still has plans to build out tax declaration capabilities in the SKY API, and once it is fully available, we will update our connectors to support that flow of data.

An error occurred while saving the comment We also would love to add this feature! Currently, matching to consent isn't supported by Blackbaud in the SKY API. Please let Blackbaud know this is something you would like to be able to match on. When the functionality is available in the SKY API, we will make sure to enable it in Omatic Cloud.

An error occurred while saving the comment Hi,
There should be a link at the bottom of the profile that says "View Usage". If you click that link, are you able to see the remaining available hits?
Best,

An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Hiruy,
If you double-click on the field, you should be able to type or paste the file path you need, even if you can't navigate to it through clicking on the navigation tree. This should resolve the issue, but let us know if not.

An error occurred while saving the comment We will re-open this one. For export, you can send exceptions to a Query (so you can see what wasn't updated): http://omatic-importomatic.helpdocsonline.com/export-profile-output-files
But for the specific use case of the Luminate Connector / Group Sync, the request is to be able to see which records were added to the group in LO and which records were removed from the group in LO.

An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Erin,
In version 3.5 of ImportOmatic (released a couple weeks after your post), we added the ability to use RE Exports instead of relying solely on Query. Have you tried that? That would allow you to export specific Aliases, as you described needing.

An error occurred while saving the comment Thank you for taking the time to submit your feedback! Please know that we are actively working to improve our Support processes and resolution time. We just recently implemented a new Support tracking tool that will help with these issues. You may submit a case online at https://omaticsoftware.freshdesk.com/support/solutions or by emailing us at support@omaticsoftware.com. You will notice this new tool also has a Knowledgebase but we are still working to get all of our existing solutions moved over so don’t be surprised if all of the content you are accustomed to is not there yet.
In addition, we are in the process of identifying a new phone system that will help ensure a live analyst is always reachable, rather than relying on our current voicemail system.. We hope to go live with that system in the next couple of months.
In the meantime, please feel free to reach out to our Director of Customer Success directly if you are not getting the assistance that you need. Her name is Jennifer Neher and her email address is jennifern@omaticsoftware.com.

An error occurred while saving the comment Hi,
The addition of basic biographical fields should not promote the record to a full constituent. Here is are the details:
"Non-biographical data (which will trigger a full constituent) for List Management imports includes: assigned solicitors, financial relationships, gifts, memberships, or tributes. Non-constituent records in List Management may include the following types of fields, without creating a constituent record: actions, appeals, attributes, constituent codes, individual relationships, notes, organization relationships, or ratings."
^This information was previously found here http://omatic-importomatic.helpdocsonline.com/list-right-click-menu. We've since clarified and copied it to a few other places for clarity too. Thanks for the tip!
In the latest version of ImportOmatic with List Management, we've added a feature that makes it easy to correct any accidental promotions. You can now demote records back to being nonconstituents, right from within the list! You can review the functionality here: http://omatic-importomatic.helpdocsonline.com/demote-a-record. If you're hosted by Blackbaud, you will see this when you are updated to 3.4.0.0+. If you're not hosted by Blackbaud, you can download it to day by logging in to your omaticsoftware.com account!

An error occurred while saving the comment This is an interesting idea! Would you want to see this while reviewing possible matches, or just while merging the records (either one-by-one or in a merge queue)?
Thanks,

An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Erin,
This is an interesting challenge. Can you tell us a little more about how you know whether an address is invalid or incomplete during the import? Are you configuring the import to show you every address change and then making the call on a case-by-case basis, or are you using some other method like a dictionary that looks for blank fields?
Thanks,
The Omatic Team

An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Sara, unless I'm missing something you can definitely import Gift Attributes with ImportOmatic. This section from the user guide shows how to field map attributes:
http://omatic-importomatic.helpdocsonline.com/attribute-mapping
The sample images use Constituent attributes, but Gift Attributes would work the same way. Feel free to contact support if you're having trouble with it! Please let me know if I missed something also. Thanks for giving us your feedback!

An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Shalena,
Thank you for the additional information. It appears that you would like there to be an option to automatically promote matched non-constituent relationships (similar to what we added for non-constituent spouses). So no matter how the match is made - either manually in the duplicate search screen or using a unique identifier such as alias - that record should be promoted.
This is separate from the side by side comparison screen too. You would see that either way, if you have the option selected to view that screen.
Thank you,
Omatic SoftwareAn error occurred while saving the comment Hi Shalena,
I looked at your support case and found that you're seeing the side-by-side comparison screen when the non-constituents are matched by alias, and then trying to change some of their biographical data (adding a middle name where there wasn't one previously, for example).
It appears that the issue is with the bio comparison screen popping when the data is blank in RE, is that correct? If so, I can update the title of this suggestion to say that there should be an option not to see the side-by-side when the field is blank in RE.Thank you,

An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Sandy, if you change that query to a Static query, does it move faster? (it does mean the query would need to be refreshed periodically, of course...)

An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Nike, whenever conditional logic comes up, it's almost always a perfect fit for solving with ImportOmatic's API:

An error occurred while saving the comment Tom, cool idea, but I'm worried the dictionaries would get stale fast. Might be better to have a virtual field of Constit ID and you populate it by querying the DB directly using the attribute value?

An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Tom. You can currently do #2 in ImportOmatic. Click and drag your mouse down the Record Type column and then right click. You'll see the option "Set record type". This will give you an option of the major record types, such as Constituent Field, Constituent Address, Gift, etc.
Hi!
We think this a great idea! We are looking into ways to support this in the future. We are also looking to improve the Record Search and Routing pages in general, with more intuitive options.
Best,
Kristen
