Update existing records only - do not require mapping Constituent fields
When using Alias as another unique identifier to import from another platform, we need the ability to match on Alias without matching on any other pieces. At this point, a top object within the Constituent section needs to be mapped in order to create a valid formula.

In IOM, I can match on alias without updating the bio 1 fields (ie name). One has to have a name and or constituent id mapped in the first constituent section of the formula. I get several large files that I need to import and all I get is a certain alias value in the file from the other system. I do not get a constituent id. I would have to export all records from RENXT and then match up the alias value in order to add the REID to the new data file. This is time consuming and something that requires more time and thus not really saving me overall time by using cloud. If I add a name to the first section of the formula, then it will update the name field(s) and I do NOT always want the name updated. Yes, there some work arounds to this but it is still as much or more work than my current processes with IOM.
