Luminate Online has started to offer the option for donors to cover the cost of fees when donating. They added a field in the database called "fee cover option" on the gift. We would like that field available in Omatic cloud so that we can bring that data into RE in the gift attributes so we can track the number of donors opting into this option along with the amount. Tracking this amount is necessary for our organization because:
1. Finance will need to easily determine the amount of funds that need to be designated as a donation for operational expenses vs. a donation for the area or program the donor is donating.
2. We may need to report true charitable contributions separately from non-charitable amounts (like fee coverage) for accounting and compliance purposes.
3. We need to be able to calculate the amount so we can show the impact of these donations in our cost to raise a dollar, which with this option now available, can be a significant amount.
