We need to be able to write a formula that checks the record for an existing primary education. If one exists then we can import the new education without marking it as primary. If one does not exist, then we can import specific educations as primary in a specified hierarchy. For example, we have some who get an undergrad degree and then come back for a graduate degree so we want the undergrad to remain primary. We have others that come only for graduate degrees so we want to be able to mark those as primary if there is no undergraduate degree on record. And still others come for graduate degrees and advanced certificates, while some are just earning advanced certificates. We need to be able to use a formula that will check for all of that and mark the correct record as primary.
