Allow custom SQL database queries in segmentation
When creating query hierarchies, allow the user to choose either Raiser's Edge queries (as they can now) or create their own custom queries using SQL. The user-defined SQL query would always start with "SELECT ID from Records WHERE" and the user would be able to finish the query.

Upgrade Debug Mode for API
I would like to have a better debugging environment for the IOM API. I really like the IOM API as it is very powerful - if you know what you are doing. I am still a beginning programmer and debugging code in the IOM API can sometimes be a pain. (I do know about the Test Code function). I would love to have the ability to debug the CODE line by line like you can do in Visual Studio etc. So I can observe the values of variables as they change in during runtime. Right now I am using msgboxes…

Provide better feedback when executed via the command line
When executed from the command line, ImportOmatic doesn't provide a great deal of feedback directly on the command line itself, instead relying on writing any error information to the "Error" file. What would be even better would be if error information was written out to the command line as well, so that if you get immediate feedback on the error. Not sure if this is by design (perhaps to prevent disclosure of potentially sensitive information on the command line), but in particular when executing IOM.exe programmatically, feedback on the command-line would be much more useful than having to search for…

Match fund relationships on Fund and Relationship
We have some funds where the same person has two different relationships with a fund. When importing Fund Relationships is would be nice if there was an additional matching option; one that would look for a fund relationship for a constituent that had the same fund ID and the same relationship type.

Change the format of the email which is sent upon completion of import
The email which is sent when an import completes has the same subject line for every email "File Import Complete". This is not is helpful when scanning your emails. It would more helpful if the template name (profile processed) was contained in the subject line along with some indicator specifying whether the import processed without errors or not. For example:
Subject: IOM Lockbox Import File Completed 139 rows added/updated 0 constituents and 139 gifts.

Add the ability to archive bad/old phone numbers without creating a new phone number.
When updating a phone number or email address, if the new phone number is zero or the email address is blank, archive the existing phone number or email address without storing a new zero phone number or blank email address.

Import combined gifts from one line into sepearate gifts in batch.
It would be ideal that if recieving data that combines multiple gifts in one line on a CSV, IOM would have the ability to split this one large gift into several smaller ones with their own funds, campaigns and appeals.

Add column to indicate annotations in matching grid
Add small column to indicate a record has an annotation in the matching grid. "Preview" annotation text by mousing over the icon.

Grant the ability to import DCF ('Data Capture Form') advocacy activities from Engaging Networks to RE via the connector
A ‘data capture’ action is used when you want to collect information from your supporters, for example a survey.
They are different from petitions in that they are not used for campaigning purposes and so won’t be recorded in the advocacy reports. However the process of making them is exactly the same as petitions.

Link to Omatic Data Service status page from ImportOMatic plugin
If we run out of ODS hits during an import, the rest of the import goes to exceptions. We need a way to check the number of ODS lookups remaining. Can you add the ODS status page to the IOM plugin?
