Match to an existing email address on a constituent record and edit phone type for that specific email
Would like the ability to change the phone type and/or make a specific phone or email address inactive based on an import file of email addresses that we receive hard bounces for. Also, since the same email address could exist on multiple constituent records, would like for IOM to match to more than one constituent containing matching email address.

Automate the population of benefits on participant and gift records
Automate the population of benefits on participant records by pulling detail from Event record when adding registration fees through IOM process and on gifts when linking to a participant record which has benefits populated.

Import constituents and non-constituents as participants in one import.
Currently, you have to do two passes of your data to import participants if you have constituents and non-constituents mixed in the file. With events, you don't always know if someone is a full constituent so it would be nice if ImportOmatic could automatically identify these in one sweep, instead of having to use the exception file to do the import of full records. Thanks.

Automatically assign solicitors to gift based on profile solicitor type setting
Have a setting in IOM that allows automatic linking of a constituent solicitor to a gift based on the solicitor type.
ex. If we use "Gift Solicitor" as the solicitor type of constituent solicitors we want to automatically link to all gifts for that solicitor then I would choose that type from a list and check a box to "Automatically assign constituent solicitor to new gifts"

Add option to export segmentation counts to Excel file
Team members working on a mailing often need the ability to review segmentation counts. These are displayed nicely in the segmentation results window, but there is no way to export this info and share with team members who do not have convenient access to SOM (except for screen capture). We would like to be able to share a full report of the segments, package assignments, and counts, at whatever state of assignment we have achieved, with our team members, preferably in an Excel file.

Change Duplicate Search Method
Please change the duplicate searching method to include non-constituent spouse and/OR non-constituent individual relationships. We import many children as non-constituent relationships and we are spending a lot of time matching them to a selected record. Instead of automatically matching to the record of the parent, IOM is trying to match to other constituents with the same name as the child. Please allow us to 'turn off' searching relationships and just have the duplicate search only constituent or spouse. Or have the option to choose spouse or relationships or both. Thank you!

allow resolution of exceptions during the Import.
During import of constituent information, if the value in the Business/Industry field is not in our RE Table, the entire row is discarded as an exception. It would be very helpful to be able to resolve that conflict by adding the correct Industry value at that point, and moving on, and not losing the importing of the correct data that was included in the row.

Offer a cancel / abort button on the duplicate screen
Although I have since found that pressing escape can cancel an ongoing import, it would be useful if the duplicate match screen offered a button which could terminate the import.
If users accidentally try to import the same file twice, repeatedly clicking "skip" can be very time consuming. Additionally, pressing "escape" is a non-visible solution that may not be obvious to less experienced users.
Perhaps this button could appear when two (or more) consecutive records have been skipped as duplicates?

Integration with Blackbaud's NetCommunity
for both importing gifts and the list management tool. we're using list management to help with different non-constituent email lists and it would be great if we could see if some of the non-constituents actually move over to be constituents either through a gift in NetC or and event RSVP.

Allow you to choose which fields will be checked in the Bio Compare window (or only check if modifying existing)
I would love a way to stop Import-Omatic checking whether I want to import a date of birth, middle name etc. where none already exists.
It is helpful to know where this info differs from what we already have on Raiser’s Edge, but if it’s blank then I definitely want to just import it. I have one import which tends to have a lot of rows like this, and it’s also pretty big, so it can be quite time-consuming clicking through them.
It would be nice if we could customise this for each import profile in the settings.

Append data into a the notes field of a pre existing Notepad record.
Currently IOM is only able to append data to an education note on an education relationship in RE. Can't see why this functionality cannot be used on all notepad types.

Allow update with edits for addresses
It would be great if Import-o-matic would allow 'Update with edits' similar to 'Add with edits' but when you have a match on a record. On occasion we have a more recent record come in with new phones/emails, but although the address is the same the update is incorrectly formatted. It would be great to update the formatting on import rather than after import in Raisers Edge.

Add birth date to auto-pick criteria
We have several imports that do not include a unique identifier. "Birth date" is included in these files so it would be very helpful to have this available. This additional criteria should include "First name, Last name, and Birth date".

Make Team Raiser Team ID available in TR Donations import profile
Currently TeamRaiser Team ID is not an available field in the TR Donation import profile in the Luminate Connector. Can this field be made available? It would be very helpful!

Foreign characters
Please treat special characters, such as in the names André, François, Hélène and Zoë as if they were the English language characters. I want the matches to score much higher than they currently are. Here are some of the characters: à, â, ç, è, é, ê, î, ï, ô, ù, û, ä, ë, ö, ü

Merge records in LO when merged in RE.
One of the very few things about RELO that I like is that when I merge two records in RE, RELO also causes the corresponding two records in LO to be merged as well. This is important because BB charge me for active records in LO and I don't want to have to manually go to LO to clean up duplicates after I merge them in RE.

Would be great if you could sort based on any of the columns that are available to view. It would help to organize and prioritize the duplicate results

VIP Processing should look different from regular processing
The idea of VIP processing is fantastic! Can the pop-up window look different from regular processing? When handling thousands of records, the window header of VIP can be easily overlooked since the pop-up looks like all the others. Maybe a different color or larger font for VIP that alerts the user that this is different?

Add an option to compare conflicting bio information.
Similar to the option in ImportOmatic that allows you to compare bio fields and select which one to use, this would be extremely helpful to have in MergeOmatic. This would avoid having to go in and manually edit bio information prior to merging the record.
