  1. SF and RENXT Match on Name and Email

I would like the ability to submit to Match on Email and Name for RENXT and Salesforce.

Use Case: I have records I am attempting to send to the System of Record and I would like to only consider a record as a match if the Name and Email Match. This way I don't have to see every record that has a name match when I only have the Name and Email provided in the source.

  2. Add Translations for RENXT Gift Types

Translations for all Gift Types in RENXT would be nice. For example, in the front end the type is "Gift-in-Kind", but the API is expecting "Giftinkind"

  3. POM/P2GL: Summarize Filtered Rows

POM/P2GL can summarize transactions, creating a GL import file that contains 1 bank line and X revenue lines. This functionality is applied at the configuration level - and, therefore, impacts the entire file output.

We don't currently have a way of identifying selected transactions (e.g. Adj/Rev) where we do not want these summary transactions to be applied.

I'd like to see the ability to apply filters to the summary criteria to help drive when the summary should be applied.

    Hi JP,

Thank you for submitting the idea.  I wanted to make you aware that Post to GL currently supports this use case and summarization can be configured to summarize some transactions and not others.  The only requirement is having the information available in the source data to be able to configure the scenarios needed.

I know I have seen clients have formulas configured with the following scenarios:

    1.  Summarize non-adjustments but not adjustment transactions

    2. Summarize debit transactions but not credit transactions

    3. Summarize specific account numbers but not other account numbers

    4. Summarize transactions for specific funds but not other funds

There are definitely others that could be considered.

  4. Ability to pick a date format for the concatenated date

This is in relation to batch number naming. When we had this feature in V1 it was great for a variety of reasons and it helped when we had to process backlogged donations using run once. Now I'm having to do tons of workarounds.

You can now see that these have been implemented when you log into a Post to GL Formula
  6. Enable Display of Mailchimp Status in summary field

The "Status" field in Mailchimp (subscribed, unsubscribed, cleaned, etc.) appears to be an option to display in summary fields but when added to a summary field it doesn't display anything. If this item could be displayed in summary fields that would be helpful because then you could see at a glance which records can and cannot be updated in Mailchimp (since it won't let Omatic Cloud update Cleaned records or re-subscribe unsubscribed records).

Omatic Cloud has been updated and you should be able to see the "status" field from MailChimp now in the summary field. Thanks for letting us know!
  7. Ability to map attribute data only if no matching Altru attribute found

We would like the ability to map fields such as Attribute Date and Attribute Comment only if a new Attribute is being added to an Altru record via an OIC formula. As it stands now, we are leaving the Attribute Date and Comment fields unmapped so they won't be overwritten when the formula finds a matching Attribute based on Attribute Category.

Say we have an attribute with a Category of "E-News Email List," a Value of "Yes," and a Start Date of 1/1/2019, which signifies to us that this person subscribed on or about 1/1/2019. The subscriber's record changes somehow…

We are planning to add the ability to ignore incoming attribute data if the incoming data matches to existing fields that you would designate. We are not at this time going to enable independent field decisions for value/comment/date. Would you be able to track this data in two different attributes, so you could designate the updates independently by attribute?
  8. Discard/Ignore Records Below Certain Threshold

It would be really nice if we could ignore records below a certain threshold in both the 1:1 and 1:N matching and in all instances. The current feature in 1:N seems like a great idea, but it doesn't work. It will only ignore records below a certain threshold if there are records that are higher than that. For example, my threshold is set to 72% on one of my formulas. It doesn't work on 1:1, only 1:N. And it only works on 1:N when there is an 87% match that pulls in at the exact same time. Otherwise, all of…

We have released a new feature to Omatic Cloud called Advanced Matching Settings. By prioritizing the search scenarios, Advanced Matching Settings can help reduce the number of records that are returned when searching the destination system. This feature will:

-Save time when sorting and reviewing records during routing.

-Reduce the number of API calls to your endpoint.

-Exclude unlikely matches if better matches are found.

You can learn more about setting up these settings in our User Guide: https://omatic-cloud.helpdocsonline.com/matching$advanced-matching-settings

  9. Summary Fields grid update

Can a 'pop- up' message be generated when you press "delete" button in the actions tab of the data queue grid as sometimes, it can be pressed unintentionally and the pop up would help back out of those situations.

  10. Option to include deceased records in the search for BBCRM

Currently Omatic Cloud does not look for deceased records. It would be helpful to have an option to have a formula look for Deceased individuals. Right now they appear as "New", while we can override this and manually match, it would save us time/steps if the formula matched to deceased individuals as well.

It may be nice to have a small flag or color change to signify that these records are deceased or inactive. It would potentially aid in finding duplicates in CRM or if needed adjust other business processes.

The main thing we will be using this feature for…

Hi Michael - I wanted to let you know that we have released this capability. When you go to your formulas, there are now Additional BBCRM Settings where you can choose to include inactive or deceased records in the search results. Please let us know if you have any questions. I do have a follow up question or two for you. Now that deceased or inactive records could appear in your search results, based on your decision in the formula configuration, when these records now appear as potential matches, are there any things that you would be looking for/want to see about these records in the search results (e.g. 1:1 bucket, 1:Many bucket)? If so, what would you like to see? What does this information tell you and why is it important to know?
  11. Manually search for record to match to

I would like the ability to search RE NXT for a record when the right match isn't found - for example, someone uses a business name that doesn't exist in NXT, but I want to match to an existing record.

  12. Add ability to append custom text to incoming field

When creating a new formula, it is our practice to first build the formula connected to staging sites before pushing to a production environment. It is common for data in staging environments to be slightly altered. One example of this is that user email addresses are prepended with a short string of characters in-order to invalidate the email. This makes it impossible to match on email when using the omatic connector. I would like to request that the ability to append/prepend a small string to the value in the transformation section or perhaps in the concatenation section.

    Example: The outside…

Good news! In tomorrow's release, we will be including a feature update that enables you to concatenate a mapped field with a defined value or a current date.
  13. import Education Relationship Attributes (RE NXT)

We have been working with Blackbaud, to encourage them to make Education Attributes available in the SKY API. Good news - that work is in progress! Once Blackbaud makes these fields available in the API, we will add the functionality to Omatic Cloud.
  14. Add Admin to support tickets

Although I'm the Omatic Admin and I create the majority of any support tickets, there are others within my organization who use the product and have the ability to create tickets. Because they don't always think to CC me when they create a ticket, I'm hoping there's a way to set us up so that I'm always included on support tickets regardless of who is creating them.

Unfortunately we don't have a way to CC users on support tickets. But we do have the ability to give you access to see all of the support tickets created by other users at your organization. We have now set up your profile so that when you log into our Support portal, you will see all tickets. Hope this helps!
  15. Need ability to use multiple Concatenate Spacers when creating a field to upload to Mailchimp

I would like to be able to create a new field to upload into Mailchimp, combining different spacers, like have a space between 2 fields and then having a forward slash between another two set of fields within the same definition.

  16. Option to Delete Page within the Ready bucket

We have a need for the option to Delete Page within the Ready bucket. Currently, the only option is to delete by row or delete all. This takes a lot of time when we have 600-900 records to delete.

  17. Filter out profile picture when sending request to the server to avoid error message

When a constituent has a profile picture in their bio, we get an error - Error on DataFormSave 'Individual Edit' Maximum request length exceeded. Per Omatic, the picture is showing in the metadata causing request to be too large when sent back to server. This idea bank is to request a long term fix to filter out the profile picture when trying to send the "edit" request to the server.

Hi Melisa and Michael, we have released the fix to remove the profile picture from the Constituent edit request before sending it. Existing pictures on your side will remain in place after the edit. You don't need to take any action.
  18. Matching and Scoring Logic

When triaging records with 1:N (many) matches, it would be nice if there would be a way to implement different tools to facilitate auto matching... * use fields for matching that are NOT mapped -- match on a custom field in the destination system that is NOT even in the source system... * use fields for triage (scoring) that are NOT mapped for data synch... - might want to apply a score on an updated date field but this field is not mapped. * scoring rules - there are other salesforce deduping tools that provide the ability to assign points…

You can learn more about setting up these settings in our User Guide:  https://omatic-cloud.helpdocsonline.com/matching$advanced-matching-settings

In addition, you can match to records based on fields even if they are not mapped (including defined fields), as long as they are available in the specific endpoint for matching. If there are specific fields you are looking for that aren't available, feel free to create a new idea for those fields.  When reviewing the grids, the summary review fields enable you to select which additional fields you would like…

  19. Add option to match inactive Altru records

Due to how our Altru database was populated from Raiser's Edge, we have a lot of Inactive constituent records. When someone signs up for a program or membership and they have an existing inactive record, we set it back to active, but sometimes our Omatic formulas run before we get to that step. Then the formula doesn't find a match when indeed one actually exists. Therefore, the option to set formulas to match on inactive Altru records would be a welcome addition.

Thanks Bill! We agree this would be a beneficial update and we plan to update the connector.
  20. TeamRaiser Recurring Gifts

In Luminate Online, you have the option to allow sustainer gifts on TeamRaiser pages. The TeamRaiser formula (Luminate TeamRaiser Donations to BBCRM Constituent Revenue) cannot currently segment sustaining gift commitments for processing into CRM. Therefore, translations need to be made in order to apply recurring gift commitments only and NOT donations when fulfilling such business need. This becomes confusing because users must navigate through several gifts in queue, many of which are not sustainers. This idea is to build a formula type or functionality to accommodate the same functionality as the Luminate Sustainers to BBCRM Constituent/Revenue formula, but for TeamRaisers.
