Add Table Entry If It Doesn't Exist
It would be very helpful if Omatic Cloud could add a table entry during the import if it doesn't already exist. This is IOM functionality that is needed in Omatic Cloud.

Hi, as we try to move more of our work into Raiser's Edge NXT, it is becoming more difficult to not have this functionality. I receive the graduate data from IT, but some of the departments have changed. I have to copy and paste everything into NXT. I receive the student activities report, the clubs have changed, and now I am copy and pasting that into NXT. Now I am updating a report that has custom fields that we like to have as a table - it would be IDEAL if Omatic could work something out with BB to have tables updated if the data doesn't exist. I have to watch the import and then go back and see what doesn't move into NXT!
With the older version of Omatic (or RE7) the process was faster and I didn't have to worry about manually adding tables one by one; it would be amazing if they could work this out. -

Hi Susan and Christina - which destination systems are you working with where you would like Omatic Cloud to add table information? Some APIs are not built to allow for table entries to be added, and some systems have a configuration setting to allow new entries to be added.

I am importing student activities as attributes and they can vary wildly. If I have to update my tables before each import, I negate all the efficiency of using Omatic to schedule these imports. This lack of function will force us to retreat to IOM, which means we won't be able to schedule our imports-- a big reason we upgraded to Omatic in the first place.
