    When triaging records with 1:N (many) matches, it would be nice if there would be a way to implement different tools to facilitate auto matching... * use fields for matching that are NOT mapped -- match on a custom field in the destination system that is NOT even in the source system... * use fields for triage (scoring) that are NOT mapped for data synch... - might want to apply a score on an updated date field but this field is not mapped. * scoring rules - there are other salesforce deduping tools that provide the ability to assign points…

    We have released a new feature to Omatic Cloud called Advanced Matching Settings. By prioritizing the search scenarios, Advanced Matching Settings can help reduce the number of records that are returned when searching the destination system. This feature will:

    -Save time when sorting and reviewing records during routing.

    -Reduce the number of API calls to your endpoint.

    -Exclude unlikely matches if better matches are found.

    In addition, you can match to records based on fields even if they are not mapped (including defined fields), as long as they are available in the specific endpoint for matching. If there are specific fields you are looking for that aren't available, feel free to create a new idea for those fields.  When reviewing the grids, the summary review fields enable you to select which additional fields you would like…

  2. Add option to match inactive Altru records

    Due to how our Altru database was populated from Raiser's Edge, we have a lot of Inactive constituent records. When someone signs up for a program or membership and they have an existing inactive record, we set it back to active, but sometimes our Omatic formulas run before we get to that step. Then the formula doesn't find a match when indeed one actually exists. Therefore, the option to set formulas to match on inactive Altru records would be a welcome addition.

  3. Sync the "Commerce Identifier" field from Encompass

    Need the commerce identifier field synced from Encompass via Omatic cloud connector.

    This has been implemented and released in the latest version of the Encompass Connector; you should see the fields available when remapping fields for existing formulas or creating new ones.
  4. Ability to "Add New" from the 1:1 and 1:Many Queues

    The "Add New" button in the 1:1 and 1:Many queues is grayed out but we feel it's too restrictive. We would like the ability to add a new constituent from those queues.

    Are you are mapping or have added a defined value of "true" in the "Edit if Matched" fields in your formulas? To prevent duplicates from being added in BBCRM, if the "Edit if Matched" field is mapped or defined with a value of "true" (or a similar, accepted value), the "Add New" action button is disabled. If the "Edit if Matched" fields are not mapped or are defined as "false," the "Add New" button will be enabled. If you'd like to check out more information on the "Edit if Matched" field, you can check out our solution entry here. I believe we mentioned the update to the 'Add new' button in a communication to your team in November or December 2021, but wanted to track in here that we've "unrestricted" the 'Add new' button on the 1:1 and 1:Many Needs Attention grids, regardless if a match was found.
  5. Add a Constituency to BBCRM Mapping Formulas

    I would like to suggest the ability to bring in constituencies for new records in our BBCRM constituent revenue type.

  6. RE NXT Allow Dates for Assigned Appeals to be in the future

    We have run into an issue with OC where the Blackbaud Sky API will not allow us to import Assigned Appeals with Dates in the future. According to the support ticket "Blackbaud does not allow an appeal to be added to a constituent record through the Sky API with a date later than 2 days from the date it is being run." Assigned Appeal lists are often generated weeks in advance, and they should be able to be added to a constituent record whenever.

    Hi!

    We have have worked with Blackbaud to prioritize resolution of this issue. They have confirmed that it is resolved. You should now be able to import Assigned Appeal Dates in the future.

  7. Adding Revenue Solicitor as mappable field.

    Every donation form has a set of cross references, one data point is solicitor which is an internal CHLA Fundraiser (staff member) who is credited for the dollars raised, this info is invaluable for fundraising goals. It is not a custom field- all other labels are there except for this one.

    I wanted to let you know that the Solicitor name field is being added to the Revenue / Payment / Donation object in the BBCRM Constituent Revenue endpoint. The field for Solicitor ID already existed, mainly for lookup, so now a solicitor name can be defined or mapped. This should be in the application in April 2022.
  8. A way for data grids to display unmapped fields

    We would like for the grids to display unmapped fields such as suffix1 and suffix2 in the BBCRM production cell on the grid. This will help with identifying the right record. Many times we have Jr. and Sr. living in the same household or using the same email address.

    Suffix data is available for BBCRM: https://support.omaticsoftware.com/support/solutions/articles/28000025000-what-fields-are-available-to-display-as-summary-fields-in-1-1-and-1-many-grids- If you aren't seeing it for some reason, please let us know!
  9. TeamRaiser Recurring Gifts

    In Luminate Online, you have the option to allow sustainer gifts on TeamRaiser pages. The TeamRaiser formula (Luminate TeamRaiser Donations to BBCRM Constituent Revenue) cannot currently segment sustaining gift commitments for processing into CRM. Therefore, translations need to be made in order to apply recurring gift commitments only and NOT donations when fulfilling such business need. This becomes confusing because users must navigate through several gifts in queue, many of which are not sustainers. This idea is to build a formula type or functionality to accommodate the same functionality as the Luminate Sustainers to BBCRM Constituent/Revenue formula, but for TeamRaisers.

  10. Postal Code clean up options for Canadian Postal Codes

    Currently omatic cloud doesn't allow Canadian postal code clean ups, adding space between the code (ie, from 1A12V2 to 1A1 2V2)

    Hi Amy, 

    We have added a CAN zip clean-up transform on our Omatic Cloud platform. If a string of 6 numbers come in, a CAN zip format option can be selected. Below is how the format is configured:

     3 alphanumeric characters_3 alphanumberic characters, like ANA NAN

    A = alpha

    N = numeric

  11. Treat matches with inactive Altru records as data differences or exceptions

    Currently when formulas apply matching criteria to find matching Altru records, inactive Altru records are ignored and if there are no other possible matches, the incoming record is considered a New record. This can cause duplicates to be added to Altru, especially if New records are routed to the Ready bucket. It would be better if formulas with Altru as the destination would classify matches on inactive records as either a data difference or an exception so they can be handled separately from true New records.

    We have added the ability to match to inactive records. There is a new checkbox you can select called "Include Inactive Records in Match Results".
  12. Filter out profile picture when sending request to the server to avoid error message

    When a constituent has a profile picture in their bio, we get an error - Error on DataFormSave 'Individual Edit' Maximum request length exceeded. Per Omatic, the picture is showing in the metadata causing request to be too large when sent back to server. This idea bank is to request a long term fix to filter out the profile picture when trying to send the "edit" request to the server.

    Hi Melisa and Michael, we have released the fix to remove the profile picture from the Constituent edit request before sending it. Existing pictures on your side will remain in place after the edit. You don't need to take any action.
  13. Option to Delete Page within the Ready bucket

    We have a need for the option to Delete Page within the Ready bucket. Currently, the only option is to delete by row or delete all. This takes a lot of time when we have 600-900 records to delete.

  14. Ability to Auto-pick on First/Last Name OR Organization Name

    Currently with Mailchimp and RENXT integration formulas, auto-pick only allows to either match on first name/last name or organization, not both at the same time. It would be more helpful to be able to pick all first name, last name, and org name instead of having to pick one, and have the other go into 1:1 bucket instead of Ready.

  15. Need ability to use multiple Concatenate Spacers when creating a field to upload to Mailchimp

    I would like to be able to create a new field to upload into Mailchimp, combining different spacers, like have a space between 2 fields and then having a forward slash between another two set of fields within the same definition.

  16. Add Admin to support tickets

    Although I'm the Omatic Admin and I create the majority of any support tickets, there are others within my organization who use the product and have the ability to create tickets. Because they don't always think to CC me when they create a ticket, I'm hoping there's a way to set us up so that I'm always included on support tickets regardless of who is creating them.

    Unfortunately we don't have a way to CC users on support tickets. But we do have the ability to give you access to see all of the support tickets created by other users at your organization. We have now set up your profile so that when you log into our Support portal, you will see all tickets. Hope this helps!

    We have been working with Blackbaud, to encourage them to make Education Attributes available in the SKY API. Good news - that work is in progress! Once Blackbaud makes these fields available in the API, we will add the functionality to Omatic Cloud.
  18. Add ability to append custom text to incoming field

    When creating a new formula, it is our practice to first build the formula connected to staging sites before pushing to a production environment. It is common for data in staging environments to be slightly altered. One example of this is that user email addresses are prepended with a short string of characters in-order to invalidate the email. This makes it impossible to match on email when using the omatic connector. I would like to request that the ability to append/prepend a small string to the value in the transformation section or perhaps in the concatenation section.

    Good news! In tomorrow's release, we will be including a feature update that enables you to concatenate a mapped field with a defined value or a current date.
  19. Option to include deceased records in the search for BBCRM

    Currently Omatic Cloud does not look for deceased records. It would be helpful to have an option to have a formula look for Deceased individuals. Right now they appear as "New", while we can override this and manually match, it would save us time/steps if the formula matched to deceased individuals as well.

    It may be nice to have a small flag or color change to signify that these records are deceased or inactive. It would potentially aid in finding duplicates in CRM or if needed adjust other business processes.

    Hi Michael - I wanted to let you know that we have released this capability. When you go to your formulas, there are now Additional BBCRM Settings where you can choose to include inactive or deceased records in the search results. Please let us know if you have any questions. I do have a follow up question or two for you. Now that deceased or inactive records could appear in your search results, based on your decision in the formula configuration, when these records now appear as potential matches, are there any things that you would be looking for/want to see about these records in the search results (e.g. 1:1 bucket, 1:Many bucket)? If so, what would you like to see? What does this information tell you and why is it important to know?
  20. secondary Addressees and Salutations

    As I am starting to work on the Cloud, it would be great to be able to additional addressees and salutations besides the Primary.

    This is available under the section called "Other Name Formats". Blackbaud rebranded Additional Add/Sals to be called "Name Formats" in RENXT.
