Add possibility to import Account Notes to the bank/financial relationships. Currently this information is available in TRE, but IOM is not able to import this information.

Change Omatic Output encoding from Unicode (UCS-2 LE BOM) to UTF-8.
Omatic exports output CSV files encoded with Unicode (UCS-2 LE BOM). This is not the standard encoding option, nad prevents us taking a csv file and importing it to another database without opening and saving the document again in the correct encoded format of UTF-8.
please add the option of encoding the output to UTF-8 or make this the default.

Apply defaults on spouse promotion
When a non-constituent spouse is promoted to constituent record the default settings for new constituent are not applied. In our case that means no default constituent code, salutation, addressee, or nickname. There should be a checkbox with the spouse promotion option to apply a default set.

Use entire address for similarity score scoring
Similarity score only checks the address lines, so even if I have a 100 score, but the city, state, or ZIP are different, I still have to process the address. This slows down the import process too much. Please give us the option to check the entire address.

Allow for multiple Duplicate Exclusion records to be added or cleared at one time
It would be great if multiple records in the Duplicate Exclusion section could be added or cleared at one time. We have noticed that the staff before us apparently marked records as NOT DUPLICATES if they did not want to deal with the merge leaving scans of system to ignore over 1K duplicates that we are now trying to clear by hand...one at a time.

List Management- Globally add, change, delete and import
List Management is a database, which requires regular maintenance like Raiser's Edge. The ability to update existing data on a List Management only record needs to be enhanced to allow imports- allowing the user to pinpoint the type of clean-up using Import ids for things like Note Import ID (Action, Constituent or Gift), Attribute Import ID, Phone Import ID, and Constituent Assigned Appeal Import ID. There should also be the ability to perform global change and global deletion of coding, as coding and code table change/clean-up within systems will occur and/or a user may import the wrong data and reinstating…

Ability to move profiles and heirarchy templates in the list
To maintain order in SOM, it would be very helpful to be able to change the list order of profiles and of hierarchy templates. It would be an extra bonus to be able to group them in "folders" of some kind. This would allow orderly management of these items. This is similar to the request made for ImportOmatic profiles to be reordered in the list; perhaps the same coding could accomplish both. Drag and drop functionality would be ideal.

Allow updating/changing the phone type
Currently it is not possible to change the phone type (for example from phone1 to phone2 or from email to bademail). We would like to be able to specify in the import file when the type should be changed/what it should be changed to. This is needed when you have many data sources providing phone numbers or email addresses and you need to accomodate the BB rule of not duplicating phone types.
13 votesIOM can do this automatically for you, but you need a space between your phone type and the number, like “phone 1”. Unless I"m misunderstanding you.

Pledge and Recurring Gift Warnings
When adding a gift to a batch manually RE can warn you if there is an outstanding pledge or recurring gift payment and allows you to link the gift directly. It would be nice to have this functionality with an import as well.

List Management- Ability to merge list member records without promoting to full constituents
It would be helpful if there was the ability to merge list member only records with other list member only records without promoting to full constituents within List Management.

Have an option for the address similarity score to match only against the preferred address.
Since we save our addresses (even after NCOA) there are often a lot of same or similar addresses. Currently the advanced address processing window pops up for each transaction and we click ignore. It would be great if we could choose to base the address only on the preferred address and skip this process.

Match financial institutions more intelligently
Today Sharifa and I spent hours battling against some fairly opaque error messages. In the end it turned out that adding a "branch name" for both the gift and the relationship was enough to push it through, but this has meant that our financial institution table is now polluted by some branch names that are just "branch" - clearly not ideal.
I think this must be because our financial institution table was already quite messy. When I look at the records that caused exceptions, it appears that they were all trying to use banks which either had a branch name…

Calculate Gift Benefits
Calculate the 'Total Benefit/Value' on the Gift Benefits Button based on the imported values of 'Count' and 'Unit Cost' so that the correct receipt amount will then be calculated on the gift record. Currently the 'Total Benefit/Value' field is left with a value of $0.00 and therefore the receipt amount reflects the full gift amount (see attached screenshots).

Update existing phone/email number to the one on the import and to move the existing matching phone type to a different number
When updating phone numbers and emails, it would be great to have another option to update the existing phone type with the new number/email and to move that old number/email to the next available phone type with a different number (basically doing the inverse of what is offered currently).

Allow users to restrict profile editing
It would be nice to have the option of making your profile unable to be edited by other users. Similar to queries where you can choose if others are able to face changes.
