An error occurred while saving the comment jksmth commentedYes I agree this would save a lot of time.
It could work like list management imports, where it looks for non-constituents and full constituents. But it would be without List management, of course, and would only be an "Event non-constituent".jksmth supported this idea · -

An error occurred while saving the comment jksmth commentedThis might also be helpful for us, and I wish Importomatic had another similar option.
When we import new constituents into RE sometimes they just have an organization that they work for and the organization address. When we import the constituents we have the business be marked as the primary business if another business is not already the primary business. When you look at the records after the import many of the new constituent's address fields are completely empty and blank. The import added a business relationship, business address, and made the business the primary business. But it did not make the business address as primary if they did not already have a primary address. It would be nice if there was an option to mark the business address as the primary address if there is not already an address. Thanks!

An error occurred while saving the comment jksmth commentedHi. Omatic software, currently pressing the ESC key does not allow you to stop the import at any time. The only time it will let me press the ESC key is in an address comparison window. I added a new "idea" for the ESC key to work any time during the import. Thank you.

Hi, Omatic here! After reviewing this request, we think we may have misunderstood Joan’s initial request when we responded quite awhile back. We’ve corrected the suggestion’s status, but we also included the initial response below for context. Please feel free to continue to vote on the idea and add your comments!
Previous response – Hi Joan, IOM already matches on any email address. We already have phone number matching scheduled for the next big release, but you can have it now simply by mapping your phone numbers as email addresses in your Import-O-Matic profile (RE treats phones and emails pretty much the same).

An error occurred while saving the comment jksmth commentedI would like to add another comment. Sometimes we need to modify a current profile to match an employee's needs. If they would just like the fields moved to different columns, or a different arrangement there is no way to do this currently, that I know of. You can only copy a profile as is, delete rows, insert rows above and below, or start from scratch creating a profile. Being able to move fields in a profile field map (or move virtual fields) would be helpful if we needed to edit a profile. Thank you.

Yes this would be helpful!
When I do two passes to import non-constituents (only event participants) and full constituents for events, when I do the non-constituent pass it will not show me if a person of the same exact name has already been added to an event. It only shows full constituents and List Management non-constituents, when trying to match to potential constituents in the RE system. This results in many duplicate non-constituent participants being added to the event.
