Yes I agree this would save a lot of time.
It could work like list management imports, where it looks for non-constituents and full constituents. But it would be without List management, of course, and would only be an "Event non-constituent".

This might also be helpful for us, and I wish Importomatic had another similar option.
When we import new constituents into RE sometimes they just have an organization that they work for and the organization address. When we import the constituents we have the business be marked as the primary business if another business is not already the primary business. When you look at the records after the import many of the new constituent's address fields are completely empty and blank. The import added a business relationship, business address, and made the business the primary business. But it did not make the business address as primary if they did not already have a primary address. It would be nice if there was an option to mark the business address as the primary address if there is not already an address. Thanks!

Hi. Omatic software, currently pressing the ESC key does not allow you to stop the import at any time. The only time it will let me press the ESC key is in an address comparison window. I added a new "idea" for the ESC key to work any time during the import. Thank you.

I would like to add another comment. Sometimes we need to modify a current profile to match an employee's needs. If they would just like the fields moved to different columns, or a different arrangement there is no way to do this currently, that I know of. You can only copy a profile as is, delete rows, insert rows above and below, or start from scratch creating a profile. Being able to move fields in a profile field map (or move virtual fields) would be helpful if we needed to edit a profile. Thank you.

This would be really helpful!
We receive an excel list of current employees each month. The excel sheet features updated addresses and names. The sheet features their employee id as well. When someone gets married and their name changes, we can see it is the same person because of the employee id. Currently with importomatic we have to manually go in and add the former name to the alias.
This would be a nice option!

Yes this would be helpful!
When I do two passes to import non-constituents (only event participants) and full constituents for events, when I do the non-constituent pass it will not show me if a person of the same exact name has already been added to an event. It only shows full constituents and List Management non-constituents, when trying to match to potential constituents in the RE system. This results in many duplicate non-constituent participants being added to the event.
