How can we improve Omatic Cloud?

  1. Attribute Comment Updating

    When Importing Attribute if match on Category and Description is found, it would be very helpful to be able to keep existing comment and add to it. example we store education attribute sport with years of participation in the comments so if category=sport and description=basketball and comment is 25,24 I would want to add 26 to comment, to read 26,25,24. Perhaps concatenate existing value & add 26 with comma separator.

    More Tabs! I'm ok with having an "All Formulas" tab, however I like to have one tab per vendor, and I can't do that now.

  3. Review menu scrollbar

    On the review menu it is a mild inconvenience to have the scrollbar all the way at the bottom, would be awesome to have it available at the top or at any moment in the review screen to see the fields

  4. Autocorrect empty fields instead of needing "Is Not Blank" Replacement

    It would be great if the system can autocorrect for the error were we are creating a field type/category with blank data coming through for some individuals instead of needing to remember to enter the Replace transformation or go back and enter it post error message. Small papercut that could make a big User Experience difference.

  5. Facebook Fundraiser ID Field Available for Omatic Cloud

    It would be great to be able to make the Facebook Fundraiser ID in Luminate Online (TeamRaiser) available within Omatic Cloud so the value can be synced with other environments, like Salesforce. As fundraising options/tools/vehicles continue to grow, we'd like to be able to report within our database of record, who is using Facebook as a fundraising tool and who is not. It does appear that Blackbaud makes this field available within it's API.

  6. EveryAction Field - "Campaign Type"

    It would be helpful to have "Campaign Type" as an endpoint for EveryAction. This field would allow for the tracking of donations through various campaign types.

    Please create a Data Connector to BBIP (Blackbaud Integrated Payments (aka BBMS).
    There might be cases where payments go through BBIP but not via a pathway that auto-creates a Gift Batch.
    A formula could do this.

  8. View API Name in Object Picker

    When selecting fields in the Object Picker, some of them have the same label but different API names. For example, we can have City (MailingCity) or City (City_Employer). It would be extremely helpful if we could hover over the field and see the actual API name to ensure we're mapping to the right field, rather than needing to do a lot of trial and error testing.

  9. Formula Exceptions Automate Reprocessing/Retrying

    Almost always when Formula Exceptions pop-up (as opposed to Destination Exceptions), they are timeout or connection issues and customers have to click into that bucket and then just click the Reprocess button. This could be automated to retry a certain amount of times on failure or after a time period and would save customers an annoyance. (Customer papercut type improvement)

  10. Allow Custom Routing-Omit to compare Source Fields to Destination Fields.

    Use Case: RE-Nxt to Salesforce (for Email)

    We are integrating RE Constituents to Salesforce to utilize Account Engagement to send our emails. As such, we are only sending down a few fields { Cons-ID, First, Middle, Last, Email..}. The formula is based upon Constituent-Date-Changed in RE. There's lots of things on a Constituent record that get "touched" each day that triggers a change to the Constituent-Date-Changed field, despite there be no effective change to the fields in our formula.

  12. test connection

    Particularly while I am setting up or testing a new connection I find myself going in to edit the formula often. Each time I go in I have to wait for the connection to be tested. I think it would save a good bit of time if the connection testing was separated out so that you could make changes a little at a time. If you have just setup a connection and its tested, that's not likely to change within the first day of being setup.

  13. US phone number - catch incomplete phone numbers

    Add this as built in code in the telephone formatting options so there are built in options to catch "bad" data, in this case incomplete phone numbers

    US Phone Number Normalization
    Goal: normalize to digits, then detect “short” values and exclude them.

    Steps on the phone field

    Telephone format (or use Replace to strip punctuation)
    Normalize the phone first so only digits remain (remove spaces, dashes, parentheses, etc.). If you don’t use Telephone format, add Replace rules to remove “(”, “)”, “-”, “ ”, “+”, “.”, and “x/ext”.

  15. Add individual system Record ID as a match option when importing a Relationship

    Expand the matching logic for Relationships to include the Constituent System record ID . The constituent system record ID is unique across RE and is assigned to a record once added in RE. This data point will allow the import for Relationship records to use an alias/alias type and constituent system record IDs to get an exact match and will prevent duplicate/reciprocal relationships to be added in RENXT. Currently ImportOmatc will match on an Alias ID and will not create additional relationships if it exists.

  17. Allow In-Line Edit in Formula Exceptions

    It would be helpful to have the ability to fix matching formula exceptions using inline edits. Specifically with email connectors, this is would be useful to correct invalid email addresses.

  18. Add "Single" as option for Schedule Frequency for Pledges

    It looks like Blackbaud has added "Single" as an additional option in their SKY API for schedule frequency in the Gift API call. The full list of options for frequency is now:

    "Annually",

    "Quarterly",
    "Monthly",
    "EVERYFOURWEEKS",
    "EVERYTWOWEEKS",

    "Single"

    Can the API call be updated and coded in Omatic to accommodate the new options for mapping this field?

  19. Match on preferred name in NXT !

    We need to be able to check incoming first name against both 'first name' AND 'preferred name/nickname' fields. THIS IS CRITICAL and is causing a much inefficiency and possible data corruption.
